About The Author

Andy was born in London in 1950 and lived there till he was 11. His main interest was football and played for the district of London, being “scouted” by some top English football clubs including Arsenal and Tottenham, they lost track of him when the family (parents, brother and sister) then moved to the south coast of England.

After leaving school, Andy started work in a restaurant as a chef, he was asked to stay and train as a manager, but the intention was to become an artist in an advertising agency. At 16 he joined an advertising agency working in the studio as an artist. After becoming the studio manager, (and working in the evenings as manager of a Discotheque), Andy left to start his own design and marketing company at 26 and was handling such accounts as Walt Disney, Columbia Pictures, British Aerospace, British Airways, British Midland Airways, among other well known companies. In 1974 Andy was a kitchen hand on the film ‘Terror on the Britannic’ with Anthony Hopkins, Richard Harris and Omar Sharif.

Now retired, he lives in the countryside in Northern France.
